Where the Money Goes
The funds raised are used to provide equipment and services to support the day-to-day running of the hospital and the convenience and comfort of the patients.
Recent purchases include
1 An ultrasound machine for the Anaesthetics Department, to help when using spinal blocks, at a cost of £18,500.
2. Recliner chairs for the Garden Suite
3. Puzzle books and games for the Dementia Team

EBUS At a massive £127,000 this was the League's biggest single purchase of 2012 for the hospital. The machine is now up and running in the Endoscopy department of the Alexandra Hospital |
